Chaffee Arts offers free art classes to students in Chaffee County through collaboration with other organizations. Classes are for middle school and high school students in a variety of media. We have provided classes for ElevateHER, Chaffee County Community High School, and Darren Patterson Christian Academy. Local artists provide the instruction and Chaffee Arts donates the art materials. Funding for these art classes is provided through a raffle that Chaffee Arts runs during our Open Awards Art Show. Local artists donate original artwork which is raffled off at the show. When possible, art from these classes is exhibited at the Open Awards Art Show.
